Requirements

Degree/diploma in Radiography or equivalent is essential
All candidates must be registered with HCPC
Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
Ability to build rapport
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work

Responsibilities:

Undertaking scanning in a hospital setting
Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
Be familiar with, and adhere to, the SOR and HPC codes of professional conduct for Radiographers
Ensure that equipment is properly maintained, reporting any deficiencies, malfunctions, defects or occurrence which may affect safety to the Radiographer in Charge
Maintain a high level of safety to ensure all service users are kept safe
Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of radiography
Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
Support the service's leadership team as required
