Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Radiography or equivalent is essential
- All candidates must be registered with HCPC
- Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
- Ability to build rapport
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking scanning in a hospital setting
- Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
- Be familiar with, and adhere to, the SOR and HPC codes of professional conduct for Radiographers
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained, reporting any deficiencies, malfunctions, defects or occurrence which may affect safety to the Radiographer in Charge
- Maintain a high level of safety to ensure all service users are kept safe
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of radiography
- Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
- Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
- Support the service's leadership team as required
