• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the use of medications to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as required to maintain availability.
• Supervise and train pharmacy support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Deliver healthcare services such as vaccinations and health checks, where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all pharmacy activities.

Profile

A successful Pharmacist should have:

• A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a healthcare environment.
