Compliance Coordinator

An opportunity has come available for a compliance coordinator to join a specialist railway Telecoms & M&E recruitment consultancy. This position would involve the day to day running's of the compliance for railway contractors and onboarding candidates. Previous administration experience and preferable knowledge and experience within the railway sector.

Training provided in the Guildford offices. Then remote working will be available for the successful candidate with an occasional visit to the office when required.

Role and responsibilities

  • Booking of all training courses required Booking all D&A and medicals
  • Monitoring expires of all courses, D&A and medicals. Arranging re-certs where necessary and gathering all documentation required in order for contractors to undertake them
  • Updating the database with new training providers and contact information Request sub sponsor weekly hours
  • Manage incoming sub sponsor requests
  • Maintain sentinel, monitor sponsorship's and desponsor where required
  • Running expiring items reports weekly and chasing up documents and tickets from contractors
  • Ordering PPE to be sent to contractors
  • Assisting the team in picking up inbound phone calls
  • onboarding candidates

Required skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent computer literacy in all MS Office packages Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines A calm, professional manner
  • Be able to prioritise
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills
