Plant Technician / Mobile Plant Technician / Plant Fitter - Heathrow

Location: Heathrow - Site based and mobile

Salary: Basic salary up to £42,(Apply online only) DOE

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Additional Pay: Call out payments available

Key Responsibilities of a Plant Technician

Carrying out major and minor repairs on plant machinery
Completing PDI work and attachment setup
Mobile repair and maintenance of plant equipment
Performing inspections and planned preventative maintenance in line with service schedules
Maintaining cleanliness and stock levels within the service vehicle
Working closely with sales and service teams to deliver a reliable customer experience
Diagnosing faults and planning repairs alongside workshop teams
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
Completing all documentation and warranty paperwork in line with manufacturer requirements
Supporting and training new starters and trainees when required
Ensuring quality, compliance, and health and safety standards are always met

Skills and Qualifications for a Plant Technician

Essential

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Plant Machinery Repair and Maintenance
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Previous mobile plant experience
Manufacturer training or certifications
