- My client is looking for a land acquisition manager to originate lands suitable for the development of solar photovoltaic projects in Italy.
- you will be responsible for site identification, screening and selection, environmental assessments, land agreements, suitable for solar photovoltaic projects.
Your Role - as Land Acquisition Manager you will:
- initiate and implement origination plans, including establishing channel partners, in one or more designated region(s)
- assess the land suitability for the development of utility-scale agri-voltaic projects and BESS projects through a thorough environmental constraint analysis
- identify, filter, engage, and cultivate contacts in support of the land origination strategy
- manage the relationships with the land-owners
- track, update, coordinate, and originate leads directly in coordination with the team
- collaborate with other team members of the company to provide a coordinated customer approach and outreach effort
Description of the successful candidate:
- experience in land identification; demonstrated success in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new leads
- successful at building and implementing land-owners acquisition plans
- experience in building relationships with land-owners
- ability to develop customer relationships through existing contacts and relationships; build relationships quickly
- good knowledge of preliminary land rights agreements; ability to negotiate and close preliminary land rights agreements
- ability to travel in various regions of Italy upon request
- willingness to work and thrive in a culture of respect, communication, and accountability in a highly dynamic environment
