***Senior Quantity Surveyor-Up to 90,000 + Company Vehicle Hybrid (Home & Site-Based)-Ireland ***

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? Key Responsibilities

  • Subcontractor Management: Procurement, management of work packages, and final sign-off of subcontractor accounts.

  • Resource Allocation: Preparing labour and plant allocation sheets for on-site activities.

  • Drawing Reviews: Reviewing construction drawings and identifying changes or deviations from tender documentation.

  • Variations & Claims: Negotiating variations and claims directly with the client.

  • Payment Applications: Preparing, submitting, and managing interim valuations.

  • Site Visits: Attending site at least once per week (project size dependent).

  • Payment Management: Following up on outstanding client payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Take-Offs: Completing accurate take-offs for structural steel, decking, and cladding.

  • Final Accounts: Compiling, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts with the client.



About You

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.

  • Steelwork Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural steelwork projects (general construction experience also considered).

  • Team Player: Collaborative, reliable, and able to work independently when needed.

  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with the Irish steelwork market is advantageous but not essential.

  • IT Skills: Confident using Excel, Word, Outlook, and relevant project management tools.

  • Negotiator: Strong negotiation skills across variations, valuations, and final accounts.

  • Leadership: Proactive, organised, and able to drive project performance.

  • Communication: Clear communicator, capable of working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.



Working Model

This role offers flexibility with home-based working combined with regular site visits(Ireland) as required.
