Location: Flintshire

Hours: 12-hour shifts, days and nights, rotating

Salary: NEG / DOE

Overview
Lead and control shift manufacturing operations to deliver safe, efficient and on-time production, while managing Supervisors/Shift Leaders and ensuring compliance with company and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate shift Supervisors/Team Leaders to meet production plans and KPIs.
  • Plan labour, manage overtime/agency use and ensure adequate holiday/absence cover.
  • Control materials and stock (including aged stock) and ensure accurate ERP booking and labelling.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are safe, maintained and available, liaising with engineering/contractors.
  • Enforce health & safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 37301, CE).
  • Investigate incidents, maintain records and produce reports/data for management.
  • Support training, performance management, recruitment and continuous improvement activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in manufacturing shift management or a senior supervisory role.
  • Strong background in production planning, resource allocation and KPI delivery.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and shop-floor data.
  • Good understanding of H&S and ISO-based quality/environmental systems.

Preferred

Qualification in Manufacturing/Engineering or similar.

  • IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent H&S training.
