Description

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Advise on regulatory issues and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend appropriate actions.
Oversee and perform compliance monitoring and testing activities.
Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulators.
Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of compliance.

Profile

A successful AVP Compliance Officer should have:

Solid understanding of compliance regulations within the financial services industry.
Experience in risk and compliance management roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex compliance issues.
