Job Description: A reputable International School in Gran Canaria is seeking a qualified and experienced Science or Maths Teacher to join its team for the new academic year. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching either Science or Mathematics to IGCSE and A-Level students and will be enthusiastic about delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the British education system.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Science or Maths lessons aligned with the British Curriculum

Support students in achieving their academic goals at IGCSE and A-Level

Contribute to the school’s academic programs and extracurricular activities

Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school initiatives

Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff

Requirements:

A degree in a relevant subject area

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)

Experience teaching the British Curriculum at IGCSE and A-Level is essential

Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills

Committed, professional, and passionate about teaching
