Level 3 Teaching Assistant

• Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging and inclusive.

• Interventions: Lead small-group and one-to-one sessions in early literacy, phonics, and numeracy.

• Class Cover: Confidently supervise classes when required, maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Behaviour Management: Support positive behaviour and emotional development in line with school policies.

• Progress Tracking: Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform teaching and planning.

• Safeguarding: Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure pupil welfare and safety.

• Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (EYFS)

• Working Hours: Full Time (08:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday)

• Essential:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 12 weeks' experience working within a UK primary school.

• Desirable:

  • Experience supporting EYFS pupils or delivering early years interventions.

  • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one.

• Two professional references from educational settings.
