We are recruiting on behalf of a leading gas distribution company based in Bury St Edmunds for aYard Operatorto join their team. This is atemp-to-permrole, offering stability and progression for the right candidate after an initial 6-month period.The Role:
As aYard Operator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, ensuring efficient yard operations. Your responsibilities will include:- Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely
- Organising and maintaining yard stock
- Operating forklift (training provided if required)
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
What Were Looking For:
- Commitment Youre looking for a long-term role and are willing to prove yourself.
- Excellent timekeeping Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Can-do attitude Youre proactive, willing to learn, and happy to take on varied tasks.
- Physical fitness The role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weathers.
- Forklift experience (preferred but not essential) Training can be provided.
