Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Gorton:

Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new role? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in the Gorton area to recruit for experienced teaching assistants to join their team ASAP.

You will be working with small groups and children 1:1 whilst supporting the class teacher. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children with challenging behaviours and SEN in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Building positive relationships with class teachers to monitor progress and implement strategies
Preparing resources for lessons to enhance learning experiences
Engaging and building rapport with pupils to encourage learning

Position Details:

Location: Gorton
Position: Experienced SEN TA
Type of Work: Temporary
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
Hours: 9:30am-2:30pm
Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach training is highly desired
Previous experience supporting complex needs in a residential or school setting

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
