Microsoft based Digital Innovation company is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to identify, attract and secure new clients and projects. You will be joining a small team of experienced sales, marketing and pre-sales specialists

This will focus on a variety of solutions from product to professional services and you need to have a mix of technical know-how and strong sales experience

What you will do:

  • Understand technical capabilities and the uses/benefits of Microsoft's suite of products
  • Demo Microsoft products in Microsoft based solutions i.e. Dynamics, Power Platform, Dat and AI, in person or virtually.
  • Really understand an organisations needs and key drivers to help design proposed solutions that meet client needs
  • Work across project management and development teams to craft bespoke responses to bids and tenders.
  • Actively prospect for new business by using both your own and existing networks, working with partners, answering opportunities to tender, attending industry events, etc.
  • Meet sales targets by closing business and generating a sales pipeline to secure new business.
  • Act as central point of contact for incoming business opportunities.

Your background

  • Proven experience in technical pre-sales or sales consulting, focus on Microsoft products (Dynamics, Power Platform, Modern Work)
  • Able to demonstrate your experience in closing professional services opportunities and hitting targets around 5 Million
  • Experience managing and contributing to bid processes
  • Come from selling to a range of sectors, both public and private
  • Experience in a small, growing company (imagine a start up within a larger company)
  • Able to work on a remote basis but travel to customer meetings when required
