Tudor Employment Agency is seeking a Tool Maker / Bench Hand for a client in the West Midlands.
The position requires previous experience in toolmaking, with a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum based on experience.
Candidates will work on plastic injection mould tooling and bespoke tooling up to 10 tons, utilizing skills in hydraulics, hot runners, and hand tools.
Machining skills, particularly with TIG and laser welding, are advantageous, and experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
The role offers a friendly team environment and opportunities for skill development, with working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an experienced Tool Maker / Bench Hand to join a well-established, family-run business known for career stability and a dedicated team with members having over 30 years of service.

Duties of a Tool Maker / Bench Handwill include:

Utilise your toolmaking background to understand plastic injection mould tooling and procedures for repair, modification, and servicing.

Work on bespoke tooling up to 10 tons.

Apply your experience with hydraulics, hot runners, and hand tools.

Machining skills and experience with TIG and laser welding are advantageous.

Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus (training available).

Demonstrate good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Produce high-quality work efficiently, maximizing your earnings based on your abilities.
