Your new roleAs Website Manager, you will take strategic and operational ownership of the organisation's public-facing website. You'll lead the redevelopment of the current platform, working closely with internal teams and external digital partners to deliver a seamless, user-focused experience. This role will be pivotal in improving digital journeys, increasing engagement, and ensuring customers and stakeholders can easily access services and information. You will manage the website's content strategy, SEO, user experience, and technical performance. This includes overseeing agency relationships, ensuring compliance with accessibility and data protection standards, and using analytics to drive continuous improvement. You'll also support the integration of customer portals and contribute to wider digital communications initiatives.What you'll need to succeed
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in web development, digital marketing, UX/UI design, communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in website management or development (5 years if no formal qualification), including content creation, stakeholder engagement, and performance optimisation.
- Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, SEO best practices, Google Analytics (GA4), and UX/UI principles.
- Experience managing external digital agencies and working collaboratively across departments.
- A data-driven mindset with excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, GDPR compliance, and basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Experience in the housing or property sector and knowledge of digital advertising or CRM integration would be advantageous
