Field Service Engineer

My client are currently�recruiting for a Service Engineer located in the Perth area to carry out planned preventative maintenance work to patient moving and handling equipment i.e. hoists, baths, beds, shower trolleys, changing plinths, scales in care home locations. You would work out from home, in a company van stocked with parts, travelling to locations in Tayside, Central, Fife and sometimes further afield as the workload requires. The job includes occasional overnight stays away from home (expenses paid by the company).

The successful applicant will possess:

• A good physical fitness level.
• Full clean UK driving license.
• A clean PVG Disclosure certificate (or no encumbrances to obtaining one)
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland.
• Knowledge and experience in the area of electrical or electronics.
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering.
• Basic fault finding and repair skills.
• Experience in customer contact and liaison.
