Field Service Engineer

The Role of the Field Service Engineer: 

• The Field Service Engineer will be inspecting, servicing, commissioning, and assisting in installing an extensive range of products used in the automation and process engineering sectors. 

• Read and interpret electrical drawings. 

• This is a field-based role that involves covering all of Scotland. 

• Flexibility is necessary in this role, with overnight stays away from home (expenses paid).

The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer:  

• An experienced Engineer with problem solving experience is essential as it is not an entry level position, you'll need to hit the ground running. 

• Experience working in the Industrial motor control sector (Incl. can understand electrical drawings). 

• Understanding in DOL starter, Star/Delta, Softstart & Variable Speed Drive technology will be required.  

• Ideally will have involvement in installation practices of above.  

• Practice or an understanding of operating voltage 230v ac, 380 to 690V 50Hz (mainly 400V 3 Phase) is needed.
