Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 31 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of Englandand East Anglia.

Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee HGV Mechanic to join our team based at our Tulliallan site in Kincardine.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in heavy vehicles to invest in. You will work and learn alongside our experienced HGV mechanic and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe so we can continue to deliver quality and service to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the team with vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure the workshop is kept clean and organised.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • All other required duties.

  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and ability to follow procedures.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills when liaising with customers and suppliers.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.
  • Full driving license.
