We are on the lookout for an experienced TIG Welder to support a contract based in Alloa
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG Welding background
- Working on 1/2" -3" Duplex pipe
- Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project progression
Job Requirements:
- Experience in pipe welding within the nuclear/oil & gas/marine industries
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
- Experience working with Duplex
- A solid understanding of pipe welding safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Flexibility to work onsite at a different client location
- Capability to work extended hours when necessary
Job Duration and Location:
- Contract duration c. 7 weeks
- Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
- Paid 50 hour week
- 30/h PAYE plus 3.62/h holiday pay or 40.18/h Umb Co. Can go CIS.
