The Role

As a Valve Fitter, you'll play a key role in the overhaul, repair, and rebuild of industrial valves, both in our Alloa workshop and at customer sites.
You'll ensure every piece of equipment meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance - helping us deliver on our commitment to excellence.



Key Responsibilities

  • Dismantle received valve equipment and assess condition.

  • Overhaul valves to meet customer requirements, including repair and rebuild.

  • Liaise with supervisors to return equipment to a serviceable condition and correct specification.

  • Assemble and assist with pressure testing of valves.

  • Work flexibly to achieve on-time delivery and quality targets.

  • Conduct all work in line with company HSEQ and safety standards.

  • Complete all required documentation (strip-down reports, rebuild records, Quality Plans, Workshop Instructions).

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping using 6S techniques - keeping work areas clean, organised, and visitor-ready.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and team objectives.

  • Support health, safety, and environmental practices at all times, both in the workshop and at customer sites.
