Beadnell Towers are looking for customer focused, enthusiastic team players who would like to join us as in various Front of House roles as a General Assistant. This vital position is responsible for ensure the smooth running of the bar, restaurant and reception, so it is vital that you have excellent communication skills and are confident to implement our procedures.

Our General Assistants play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. You will have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectations. Operating on the front line, our General Assistants are committed to consistently delivering high standards as expected for a The Times Top 100 Places to Stay award holder.

This position will include shifts working any day of the week. Additional hours may be required to support our hotel during our busier periods including bank ;
Experience using till systems would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

Brief description of duties
Arranging the restaurant, bar and terraces
Welcoming and serving guests
Tidying and re-setting/re-stocking the restaurant and bar areas after meal service
To ensure the guests receive high quality services and service provision
To ensure that health and safety and procedures are respectedUnderstanding basic rules as they apply to:
Hygiene/good personal presentation
Storage /stock rotation and upsell
Team working
Sales ability / knowledge of products
The ability to listen: understanding how to detect customer needs
Attention to detail
Sensitivity to customers: good relationship skills
