They are part of a wider group and are now seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Sales & Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
The Opportunity
This is a unique leadership role within a small, design-led company, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, high-impact environment. The role includes full ownership of sales growth, marketing strategy, and coordination of internal business functions. For the right candidate, this is a path to step into General Manager-level responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver robust sales strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Take full day-to-day responsibility for local business operations.
- Build and manage a small commercial team, fostering performance and accountability.
- Design and implement locally driven marketing plans aligned with wider group objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across design, estimation, procurement, and production to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and engage new clients including architects, interior designers, marine and luxury developers.
- Lead brand growth across digital platforms, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor commercial performance and adjust strategies using key performance data.
- Maintain alignment with the group's matrix structure and support wider cross-functional objectives.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable track record in delivering strong B2B sales performance and driving business growth.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to lead multiple business functions.
- Experience managing small teams and cross-functional coordination.
- Polished communicator with credibility at senior client level.
- Understanding of design-led manufacturing or creative industries desirable.
- Comfortable operating within a matrix structure.
- Based ideally along the M3 corridor or in the South (e.g., Basingstoke, Newbury, Hampshire, London), with flexibility to be on site in West Hampshire 3 days per week.
