The purpose of the role is ensure that all products are consistently safe, legal, and produced to the highest quality standards, while meeting all customer and legislative requirements. You will be an integral part of the technical team, driving improvements through audits, investigations, and strong QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support food safety, legality, and quality across the site.
* Conduct internal audits, investigations, and compliance checks.
* Maintain and improve HACCP and QMS documentation.
* Assist with customer and third-party audits.
* Support new product launches with process and paperwork readiness.
* Inspect raw materials and printed packaging.
* Manage calibration and routine audit schedules (e.g. glass, GMP).
* Investigate complaints and help drive continuous improvement.
* Participate in taste panels, shelf-life validation, and HACCP reviews.
* Provide hands-on support to the QA and Technical teams.
Requirements:
* Previous QA/technical experience in food manufacturing.
* HACCP Level 2 (Level 3 desirable) and Food Safety Level 3.
* Internal auditing qualification.
* Confident using QA systems such as EQMS, Muddy Boots, or SAP.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
