As Head of Sales, you’ll be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and scaling the sales function to drive profitable, sustainable growth. You’ll create and implement sales strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and maintain strong relationships with key clients. This position reports directly to the Group Managing Director.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to align campaign messaging and service delivery

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, manage and inspire the sales team to exceed individual and team targets
  • Set clear KPIs and sales targets; monitor and support performance improvements
  • Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching and team development

 

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee large and strategic sales opportunities, ensuring a consultative approach
  • Represent FPL Signs at events, presentations and high-level meetings

 

Performance & Insight

  • Analyse sales data and generate regular reporting for senior leadership
  • Make data-driven decisions to refine processes, pricing, and approach
  • Track ROI on key initiatives and optimise sales funnel performance

  • 10 years’ experience in sales within the print and signage industry
  • Proven track record of leading successful B2B sales teams and delivering revenue growth
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial acumen
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Deep understanding of signage solutions, vehicle graphics, and display print
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised, results-oriented, and able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
