This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of subsea architecture, system interfaces, and ensuring the overall integrity and performance of subsea systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize subsea development concepts for deepwater projects, focusing on production fluid deliverability and system operation.
  • Define and review subsea development schemes, including system and component levels.
  • Approve designs by Third-Party Contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support R&D initiatives for subsea field development and new technologies.
  • Prepare documentation for tender phases and manage interfaces between subsea system work packages.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in project designs, adhering to international standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and other disciplines throughout project phases.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive experience in subsea system integration from concept through to execution and operations.
  • Strong understanding of subsea industry standards, topsides and subsea interfaces, and riser and flowline systems design.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and multiphase transportation software.
  • Experience in construction and installation activities, including FAT testing, offshore supervision, and plant construction.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and proficient use of MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in subsea system and network engineering in the oil and gas industry.
