Responsibilities and duties of the Tehcncial Operations Direcetor role

Reporting to theManaging Director, you will:

  • Lead and manage the company's operational departments, including Field Service, Technical Support, and Project Management.
  • Provide strong leadership-guiding, coaching, and motivating all operational staff to perform to the highest possible standards.
  • Support the Managing Director in day-to-day business operations and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
  • Take ownership of significant customer orders, including planning, coordinating, attending site meetings, and delivering projects to a high commercial and technical standard.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction across all operational activities.
  • Accurately complete all company and customer paperwork and administration.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager to drive Health & Safety and Quality standards, certifications, and continuous improvement across the business.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • 5+ years' experience in an operational leadership or management role (technical, service or project management)..
  • Strong experience working with customers in construction-related environments and various market sectors
  • Technical qualifications in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
  • Proven experience managing teams and people at multiple level.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Quality principles.
