Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Winchester
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Full-time, Hybrid Working Available)

They are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Cost Management team in Winchester, working on projects ranging from 1m to 600m across the Defence, Health and Residential sectors.

What's the Opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role with a company that offers strong career progression locally and nationally. You'll lead from the front on a wide variety of complex, high-profile projects and play a key role in business growth and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cost management services from inception to completion
  • Deliver large-scale and/or multiple concurrent projects
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, contributing to team development
  • Prepare feasibility studies, cost plans, tender documents and contract advice
  • Evaluate designs to ensure budget compliance and cost efficiency
  • Oversee procurement processes and negotiate tender/contract terms

Key

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS accredited)
  • MRICS
  • Proven experience delivering technically complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts
  • Previous consultancy experince is desired
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Articulate communicator with strong client-facing ability
  • A proactive, energetic mindset and a team-first attitude
