We are working with a Social Housing provider, who are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator on a temporary basis for 3 months

Working as part of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, you will provide an effective & organised administration service supporting the team in ensuring that all statutory and regulatory responsibilities for health safety and environment are discharged across the business

Duties will include:

  • Coordinating the development, implementation and maintenance of health, safety and wellbeing policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the Head of Service in compiling and issuing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including the publication of H&S statistics.
  • Working collaboratively with an Occupational Health Advisor providing administration support to ensure health surveillance is conducted in a timely manner and that accurate reports are maintained.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including incident reports, risk assessments, and audit documentation.
  • Triaging accident, incident & hazard reports and allocating to colleagues as appropriate
  • Overseeing the management and response to the Shared H&S inbox to ensure queries and requests are handled efficiently.
  • Assisting in compiling reports and data for senior management that demonstrates legal compliance and support with best practice and new initiatives. i.e. Hazardous Waste

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with managing records and documentation.
  • With exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach.
  • With basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills, a flexible team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.

This role is working 18hrs per week.
