Fabricator Welder Supervisor - £22ph

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of components using a variety of techniques and materials, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate components from stainless steel and mild steel sheet and sections.
- Carry out welding using MIG, TIG, and Manual Metal Arc.
- Accurately interpret technical drawings and manufacture components accordingly.
- Follow written instructions and standard manufacturing procedures.
- Work closely with fellow fabricators, welders, and other team members to ensure production targets are met efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with workshop standards.
- Operate a range of tools and machinery including guillotines, brake presses, rolls, and various hand tools.
- Liaise with supervisors and stores personnel to ensure timely availability of materials.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in marking out, cutting, squaring, and bending materials.
- Skilled in the use of fabrication equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of City & Guilds, BTEC First Certificate, or NVQ Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication or a related field.
