• Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment and corporation tax returns
• Providing advisory support on a range of tax matters, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts
• Liaising with HMRC and external bodies, handling queries and correspondence
• Assisting with tax planning opportunities for clients to optimise their tax position
• Supporting junior team members by reviewing work and providing guidance
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation to ensure clients receive accurate advice

• ATT or CTA qualified (or working towards qualification), or QBE with strong tax experience
• Solid experience in personal and business tax compliance, ideally gained in an accountancy practice
• A strong communicator, able to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines
• A proactive and motivated approach, with a keen interest in developing your tax expertise
