Salary: Up to £25,000 DOE
Monday - Friday 40 hrs Per Week
We are thrilled to announce we are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Four Marks, Hampshire, a fantastic opportunity for a permanent position as an Assembly Technician with a thriving global manufacturing company.
Duties of Assembly Technician:
- Assembling mechanical and electrical components to build products on the assembly line according to engineering drawings and instructions.
- Conduct initial and visual inspections of components and completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborating with other departments such as engineering and production to ensure efficient assembly process.
- Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
- Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management.
- Packing assembled products into boxes for storage.
- Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in hand tools, measuring instruments and electrical testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering drawings
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
