We are an international business, part of the FTSE 100 group of companies who are based in Alton and have seen year on year growth. Due to this we are looking to recruit a new role for a Business Administrator to join our team to support a range of administration tasks across the business. The role requires the accurate and efficient performance of the Sales Administration and General Administration support within the department, with the key duties including; customer support by telephone and email, input of quotations, orders and general administration duties including accounts and purchasing on the company business system. This is a varied and interesting role working for an international organisation.Working Monday to Friday, the role offers a hybrid working pattern, a working week of 39 hours with flexi time on offer, 25 days holiday, company pension of up to 10.5%, sick pay scheme, health cash plan, maternity/paternity scheme and incentive schemes with a salary on offer of c£28k.This role is seeking an individual with some proven administration experience who is seeking a new role. You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and have intermediate PC skills. Reporting to the Customer Account Manager and working in a team of 4, your key duties will be as follows:Essential Duties:• Provide sales administration support to the company’s UK and overseas customers• Provide support to the Customer Account Manager and Commercial Manager• Maintain accurate customer data base and records• Provide accurate input of customer quotations, proformas and sales orders• Liaise with the company finance department regarding customer lines of credit, terms, payments and debt chasing• Deliver accurate shipping documentation and invoicing to the appropriate departments and customers and collection of Proof of Deliveries for export orders• Support the achievement of daily, monthly and annual sales targets set by the management and directors• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs authorities to provide accurate documentation for UK and overseas consignments and booking collections• Assist with timely response to incoming calls, dealing with the post, enquiries and distribute any call back messages• General administration tasks for purchasing department including raising orders, sending orders to suppliers and monitoring/chasing delivery dates• General administration duties to support the Accounts Department including reconciliation of orders, invoices and bank payments

Functional Requirements:• Provide accurate daily Sales and Orders forecasts• Promptly manage and expedite customer quotation requests• Accurate and efficiently input Customer Sales Orders to assist Production planning• Maintain accurate customer sales data base and price lists• Liaise with Production supervision for accurate product leads times• Provide the warehouse with accurate documentation to expedite order dispatch• Daily Sales and Orders reporting to Management and supporting the Sales Team• Provide effective and professional customer contact directly, by telephone or email• Promptly manage the processing of Customer Sales Credits and Product Returns.• Provide administration support to Supply Chain/Purchasing department.• Provide administration support to the Accounts department.If you are motivated by a new challenge, are keen to learn and want to work for a FTSE 100 group of companies that can offer development, training and support along with stability, then this is the role for you.
