Prestigious opportunity for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in servers, platforms, virtualisation and cloud for a pioneering Managed IT Service Provider with locations across the North West.With over 30 years of exceptional service to SME organisations, from small start-ups to larger businesses and competencies in infrastructure, virtualisation, cloud, voice, platform integration and software development, we are seeking to expand our team. You will be responsible for:-
- Continuously identifying and evaluating technologies
- Design and delivery of multiple Cloud, Infrastructure and Platform migrations
- Developing and managing technical and implementation roadmaps for stakeholders
- Making technical decisions and resolving technical issues whilst embedding best practice
- Providing supervision and guidance to colleagues and acting as a point of escalation
- Documentation of architecture and identification/eradication of technical debt
- Establishing technical/security policies
If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LETS TALK!
- Expertise in Windows server and Microsoft Cloud architecture
- Experience in designing and delivering Cloud and Platform migration solutions
- Microsoft on-premises and 365 stack
- Wealth of experience with Azure
- Significant experience gained from working for a Managed Service Provider
- Proven track record in prioritising technical issues and resolving them in a timely fashion
- Ability to lead and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience communicating professionally with stakeholders at all levels
