Junior Contracts Manager
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Generous Car Allowance
Location: Hybrid (Office & Home-Based) | Approx. 30% Travel Weekly

In this hybrid role, you’ll be part of the Head Office team, working alongside the Managing Director and engaging with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders. You’ll be actively involved in the delivery of projects, and play a key part in the smooth running of our operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience across commercial, compliance, procurement, and project coordination activities.

Your Day-to-Day:
As a Junior Contracts Manager, you’ll support the delivery of work across client sites and assist with operational coordination. From managing systems and ensuring compliance to learning how to estimate project costs and liaise with suppliers, you’ll gain a broad skillset and real-world project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity & Tender Support: Assist in preparing tenders, pricing materials, and analysing costs under the guidance of senior team members.
- Procurement & Logistics: Learn how to source materials, manage supplier relationships, and track assets across projects.
- Health & Safety & Compliance: Support the implementation of compliance standards and assist with securing approvals.
- Project Coordination: Work alongside the MD to plan and coordinate Programmes of Work and logistics.
- Client Support: Help maintain strong relationships by identifying opportunities for added value and supporting client retention efforts.
- CRM Management: Learn to use our CRM system to log client interactions and support business development activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Begin building networks with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration.
- Documentation & Reporting: Support the preparation of project documentation and post-project review reports.
- Team Support: Gain exposure to team and subcontractor management, with support in areas like recruitment and wellbeing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in contracts/operations/project management
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- A recent degree (preferably in Business, Management, or a related field)
- Any experience or knowledge of health & safety (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH) would be a plus
- Previous internship, placement or part-time work in a commercial or operational role
