Our client is a firm of solicitors providing legal services to businesses and individuals from its offices in Altrincham. The company specialises residential property and (private client) work.

Conveyancer job role

We are looking for someone like-minded, to be an integral part of our residential property team. The job involves:-

  • Responsibility for files from opening through to completion, ensuring that all files are maintained in good order and follow regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Proactively dealing with the other side solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, clients, Estate agents and local authorities.
  • The provision of legal advice and assistance to clients;
  • Business development. Developing your own client base whilst supporting the team to develop a strong regional presence, carrying out marketing, networking and other business development activities
  • The ability to manage cases at a level of complexity appropriate to your level and experience and giving guidance to others in the team as appropriate;
  • Always providing outstanding client care;
  • Advising clients with integrity and reporting any concerns to a Director;
  • Managing all cases and files to a high standard and in accordance with SRA requirements, the Law Society, CQS Protocols and Guest Walker procedures.
You will
  • Develop existing expertise, experience and skills with training, direction and appropriate supervision;
  • Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills and the initiative to work independently but also as part of a team;
  • Communicate and engage at all levels both internally and externally with clients and professional advisors;
  • Negotiate with and influence others;
  • Be flexible, adaptable and have a positive attitude to work;
  • Identify priorities within a complex and demanding workload and sustain consistent quality performance when under pressure;
