Are you passionate about supporting early years education and helping young children thrive in their first year of school? A welcoming primary school in Altrincham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September 2025 through July 2026.

The Role:
* Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Supporting the class teacher and pupils in a Reception classroom
* Helping deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
* Providing 1:1 or small group support as needed
* Supporting children with early reading, phonics, and social development
* Assisting with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions

What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with EYFS-aged children (preferred)
* A positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
* A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and wellbeing
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential
