Our client is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis. The school caters for pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental wellbeing needs.Benefits:

The successful candidate will be:

  • Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities
  • Assist with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management
  • Daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning
  • Interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous
