We're seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance & Operations Manager to join a small, dynamic, and ambitious team. This is a hands-on role offering genuine scope to shape the business, support strategic growth plans, and progress towards a future Director role.
The RoleYou'll have full responsibility for all aspects of finance while also overseeing IT, payroll, and key operational functions. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, suppliers, and customers on a truly international scale.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all aspects of finance including ledgers, journals, reconciliations, supplier payments, credit control, and cash management.

Delivering robust financial, management, and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with banking covenants and regulatory obligations.

Leading MI reporting using Business Central and Power BI, and producing regular profitability and customer analysis.

Ownership of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and FX/currency management.

Managing external relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, insurers, and legal partners.

Reviewing contracts, supplier agreements, and customer terms and conditions.

Overseeing order processing, critical path management, and ensuring key delivery dates are achieved.

Supporting overseas audits and building strong long-term partnerships.

Acting as a key driver for operational efficiency across the business.
This role is highly varied and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can balance strategic decision-making with hands-on delivery.
About YouWe're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with strong experience in finance and operations within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
