We are currently supporting one of our clients in their search for a Small Works Manager to work on M&E and Fabric projects on a static site in Wythenshawe. The role will be responsible for coordinating the Project Lifecycle works.

For the role, my client is looking for someone from a Mechanical or Electrical background.

As Small Works Manager you will take full responsibility for the Site Activities which will include:

  • Delivering all Project Lifecycle works in line with Health & Safety policies
  • To raise Unplanned maintenance requests for any Lifecycle assets requiring unplanned repair or replacement to ensure all costs, including site attendances are recharged
  • Monitoring quality and progress
  • Coordinating direct and indirect (Subcontractor) personnel
  • Lead and deliver against project programme
  • Liaison with internal departments
  • Ensuring high quality records / reports / paperwork are maintained and completed in a timely fashion
  • Regular liaison and site updates with Head of Technical
  • Regular liaison with the client
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a previous and successful track record.

Key qualifications / Experience will include:

Mechanical or Electrical background
Experience working on M&E Projects
Time served Tradesperson or qualified to appropriate level HNC/HND/NVQ
Experience of schedules of rates / estimating
