Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed organisation based in Cheshire who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to join their dynamic Finance team on an initial maternity leave cover.


This is a standout opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional to join a thriving, future-focused business at a pivotal time. Reporting directly into a recently appointed CFO, you will play a key leadership role in the Finance function-owning forecasting, strategic planning, financial analysis and reporting, and helping shape the next phase of growth.


Salary/Benefits:
£80,000 - £100,000 per annum (depending on experience)
12-15 month fixed term contract
Flexible hybrid working (2 days in office/ 3 days WFH)

Job Duties:

  • Forecasting and Planning: Lead the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, developing user-friendly templates and actionable timelines. Critically analyse assumptions and submissions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Tool Development: Drive efficiency through centralised tools like the project costing model and capacity planning systems. Ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with the latest business needs.
  • Dashboard and Reporting: Build and maintain dynamic, centralised dashboards that deliver a clear view of business performance. Champion automation and best practices in reporting.
  • Data Analysis: Provide deep, actionable insights across revenue and project trends, supporting strategic and commercial decisions.
  • Transaction Readiness: Partner with finance leadership to prepare data and models for future investment or M&A scenarios.
  • Financial Systems: Collaborate with systems and reporting teams to ensure accuracy, scalability, and alignment of financial infrastructure. Recommend and help implement new KPIs and GL structures.
  • Line Management: Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.






Ideal Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' FP&A or commercial finance experience
  • Strong track record of working in high-growth or PE-backed environments (preferred)
  • Excellent Excel and data modelling skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in financial systems, planning tools, and business intelligence platforms
