Calibre Search are recruiting for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our client's thriving practice in Altrincham. With recent project wins across both the education and leisure sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established architectural practice known for delivering high-quality schemes nationwide.

The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, which may include primary, secondary, further and higher education facilities, as well as leisure developments. You'll be responsible for the preparation of drawings, designs, specifications and schedules to suit design development and information release requirements, whilst also assisting with client management and design team co-ordination.

This is a role where you'll be collaborating with design and technical team members, alongside external parties including clients and contractors. A confident, decisive manner is essential to allow programme milestones to be met, and you'll need strong communication skills and proven project running experience to excel in this position.

This is a great opportunity for creative, focused and ambitious individuals who can hit the ground running and be instrumental in the delivery of schemes within a successful national practice.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with a proven ability to design in accordance with statutory design requirements
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in education and/or leisure sectors
  • Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills
  • Client-facing with the confidence to take a lead role in meetings and presentations
  • Exceptional technical design skills and ability to manage projects through all RIBA stages (from Stage 2 onwards)
  • Proven project running experience
