This position is suited to a solicitor with over six years of post-qualification experience who is looking to handle a low-volume, high-value caseload, often involving complex or high-net-worth matters.The successful candidate will benefit from flexible working arrangements, a strong progression pathway, and the chance to work alongside some of the most respected professionals in the field.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling a diverse caseload that includes:
  •  
    • Divorce and financial remedy proceedings
    • Co-habitation disputes and TOLATA claims
    • Private children matters
    • Injunctions, including fertility and surrogacy issues
    • Civil partnership breakdowns
    • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
  • Providing high-quality, tailored legal advice to clients, including high-net-worth individuals.
  • Managing all aspects of case progression, including compliance, billing, and reporting.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team and supporting their development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the department on complex family law matters.
  • Participating in business development initiatives and contributing to the team's ongoing growth and reputation.
Key Requirements:
  • A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 6+ years PQE in family law.
  • Demonstrable experience across the full spectrum of family law matters listed above.
  • Proven ability to manage high-net-worth and/or complex financial cases.
  • Strong client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and strong time management.
  • A collaborative, proactive team player who can work independently where required.
