Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Type: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Flexitime Available

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits Package

The Opportunity

An award-winning, regionally recognised law firm is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team based in Altrincham. Known for their client-focused approach and commitment to professional excellence, the firm advises a broad range of businesses from growing enterprises to established corporates. With a supportive and forward-thinking culture, this is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a respected Corporate department.

The Role

You'll work closely with a senior Partner in the Corporate team, providing essential support on a variety of transactional matters. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys taking ownership of tasks while contributing to the wider success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documentation including board minutes, written resolutions, and ancillary documents relating to M&A, restructuring, and shareholder arrangements
  • Managing Companies House filings and company formations
  • Conducting company searches and supporting due diligence processes
  • Preparing due diligence reports and summarising key contractual provisions
  • Managing virtual data rooms for transactions
  • Liaising directly with clients and assisting with day-to-day case management
  • Supporting billing and compliance processes
  • Assisting with file opening/closing and contributing to content creation (e.g., blogs)

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Paralegal within a Corporate or Commercial team
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and confident problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a proactive and professional approach
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
