About the Company

We are a well-established, Manchester-based SME main contractor specialising in high-quality CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects across the Northwest. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results and a close-knit, collaborative team, we're now looking to expand by hiring a dedicated Estimator to support our growing pipeline of regional projects.

Role Overview

As the sole Estimator, you will play a critical role in our project delivery process, working directly with the Managing Director and collaborating closely with the Project Management team. This is a hands-on, office-based role where your insights will directly impact the success and profitability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects.

Work independently to manage the full estimating process from initial enquiry to submission.

Liaise with the Managing Director on strategy, pricing, and risk.

Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure continuity and clarity between estimation and delivery.

Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Maintain and update a robust database of pricing and project costs.

Assist in the development of budgets, cost plans, and value engineering options.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in estimating, ideally within a main contractor environment.

Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
