The majority of products are produced on site, but this is not an operation looking for awards or fancy products. This role would suit someone who enjoys running a tight kitchen with good controls and who enjoys working a day time shift with the evenings free. It will involve weekend working but you will get time off during the week to compensate.
It would suit a Sous chef or Head Chef who wants a change in pace and to have his or her evenings back. The operation is polished and whilst you dont need to live in it is available in an area which is normally expensive.
So offers considerable benefit as a role, you need to understand and accept the Lake District and enjoy the benefits on offer.
