SHJ is a leading supplier of medical and laboratory gas pipelines, solutions, and services, and a market leader in remote monitoring and energy-saving technologies. We are now looking for a driven and detail-oriented Engineering Estimator to join our growing Installationteam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit tenders and PQQs

  • Produce accurate cost estimates from engineering reports, proposals, drawings, and specifications

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams

  • Determine labour, materials, and time requirements for each project

  • Enter and maintain cost data in our Protean system

  • Monitor relevant tender websites and pursue opportunities

  • Assist with updating service part schedules for plant

  • Stay up to date with industry standards and attend technical workshops

Qualifications:Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of standard contracts in Building and Civil Engineering (NHS/Healthcare experience an advantage)

  • Familiarity with standard forms of measurement

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
