Totally Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Head of Laboratory for our client based in Coleshill on a permanent basis.

As Head of Laboratory, you will be required to…

  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, A.P.I. (Q1 10th Edition) and U.K.A.S. EN ISO / IEC 17025 third party accreditations, company and customer requirements.
  • Gauge measurement in accordance with A.P.I. (Q1 10th Edition) and U.K.A.S. EN ISO / IEC 17025, international standards, company and customer requirements.
  • Make changes to the documented QMS, Operational Procedures and Calibration Procedures.
  • Manage and review the QMS and monitor changes and make improvements to ensure satisfactory implementation.
  • Conduct internal audits of the QMS and agree corrective actions with members of the management team.
  • Customer liaison to ensure that their Quality System requirements are understood and satisfied.
  • Retention of quality records.
  • Manage and co-ordinate inspection personnel
  • The provision of resources needed to ensure the quality of laboratory operations.
  • Interview and appoint inspection staff.
  • Communicate company policy to laboratory staff.
  • Instigate training to maintain inspection standards.
  • Resolve technical problems with customers or internally.
  • Prepare Job Cards for calibration of customer gauges
  • Customer liaison to ensure that their requirements are understood and satisfied.
  • Report the performance of the quality system and on opportunities for improvement

Employment package
