Our client has over 160 stores in the UK and a growing Online, Concessions and International business. They have ambitious plans for further growth across both the UK & International markets, and are well known for their customer centric approach, ethics, and fantastic range of innovative products.

They are now looking for an Import & Export Administrator to be based out of their Amersham offices.  As Import & Export Administrator you will be responsible for managing the flow of import and export documentation for all international shipments. You will be working closely with other departments including buying, quality assurance, finance, and our international operations and merchandising teams.

You will be a commercially aware individual that has previous Import/export administration exprience. You will need to combine your commercial knowledge and awareness of our clients’ international operations with a natural ability to build working relationships to deliver a first-class service to our partners.

Import & Export Administrator

- Responsible for producing necessary import documentation for all international shipments.

- Responsible to organise Import from EU.

- Working with relevant internal teams to collate key information, ensuring the smooth dispatch of goods.

- Liaising with DC’s, shipping companies and international partners to organise collection.

- Responsible for communicating any amendments or shipment delays to relevant partners and internal departments.

- Manage collections from the DC to ensure outbound workflow is phased in line with overall outbound operations.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with international partners/shippers.

- Ensure all import documentation is produced in line with UK customs requirements to enable tracking of international shipments.

Import & Export Administrator

- Ideally minimum of one year’s exposure in a relevant import/export operation.

- Understanding of import documentation requirements.

- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills, and systems understanding.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to independently manage your workload and work cross functionally.

- Excellent working knowledge of Excel (Intermediate level)

-  Excellent administration skills, quality driven and attentive to detail.
