One of our clients are looking for an experienced Senior QS for a substation project in Amersham.
Set-up:* ASAP start* 6-month initial contract* Hybrid role - 3/4 days on site* Outside IR35Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
Client wants:
- Previous experience working for T1 contractors in live project setting
- Substation experience preferred
- Proven experience as QS
- Strong communication and good organisation skills and time management
- Ability to manage high-risk schemes
