Are you a passionate Computing Teacher / ICT Teacher seeking an exciting new opportunity in the Amersham, Buckinghamshire area? We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join an award-winning Secondary Academy as a Computer Science Teacher / ICT Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and informative computing lessons to students
- Planning and implementing a curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Creating a positive, progressive learning atmosphere that promotes both academic and personal growth for learners.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Supporting students in their learning journey, providing developmental guidance.
Requirements:
- Based in/or reliably commutable to Amersham, Buckinghamshire
- A computing related degree and/or direct experience teaching ICT / Computer Science.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is advantageous.
- A strong passion for computer science, with an understanding of key concepts within the specialist subject.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to construct positive relationship and rapport with students, staff and parents/carers.
- Experience in teaching at secondary school level is desirable.
- A dedication to professional development within your specialist subject/key stage.
